CrowdStrike Windows Installation Instructions

To install CrowdStrike on Windows, follow these steps. Note that administrator rights on the computer are required.

1. Navigate to Box to obtain the installer
2. Log in to Box with your access.caltech account
3. You will be taken to the CrowdStrike Installer.EXE file
4. Click on Download
5. Click on the downloaded file, it may take a few seconds for the file to open
6. A User Account Control window will appear, click Yes.

Note: In some cases this window will not open automatically, you may need to click on the warning in the task bar, which looks like the image below.

7. You will receive a confirmation window stating Installation Complete, click Ok.
