The Caltech Network infrastructure provides eligible users with access to Wired and Wireless networks, and remote access with virtual private networks. (VPN). The wired network access is available in all campus buildings. Most wall plates labeled with an "A" jack are activated for wired access.
Caltech is in the process of a complete wireless network refresh. While we work to complete the upgrades, building by building, there will be two wireless networks operating in tandem. Caltech Beavernet will be retired from each building as we roll out Caltech Secure.
